I Consider Pollok Country Park one of the Gems of Glasgow with it's wildlife
and bird life.
It provides Glasgow with a lung of fresh air amidst a large industrial and
Commercial area.
It is an Oasis of peace and quiet where the citizens of Glasgow can walk with
nature and enjoy the
countryside without leaving the city
.
It is unique in its flora and fauna contribution to the environment. In this
age of Global warming it is criminal
to cut down trees for the benefit of a commercial enterprise that it is doubtful
will produce any benefit to Pollok Country Park or to Glasgow.
Countless citizens over the years have enjoyed this unique environment and
it is our duty to preserve it for
future generations of Glaswegians and people from beyond the immediate area
of Glasgow.
Glasgow council are the temporary guardians of Pollok Park with a responsibility
to the rightful users, the citizens of Glasgow.

Pollok Country Park. Click on the following link, which is a website of a

from the proposed development.
